WELCOME TO SIS

Welcome to the Star Smart International Educational Community in the city of Sulaymaniyah, Iraq for children aged 4 to 18, providing a world class education in a state of the art building. We follow the Cambridge International Curriculum and program for the subjects of English, Mathematics, Science, Computing and Global Perspective. The remainder of the subjects are those provided by the Ministry of Education. The School and Kindergarten opened in September 2023 and is managed and led by a strong team of professionals and is proud to be at the heart and hub of the local community.

The School’s learning environment is inspiring, exciting and motivating with a variety of teaching and learning activities to enrich students learning. In addition, well-being is a priority for the school both in terms of students' and staff which is one of the many reasons why the school is considered a great place to work.

We hope you enjoy looking around our website, designed to be a hub of information for all. I am particularly proud to be the Executive Principal of Star Smart International Educational Community. We are a truly inclusive all-through education community in this region that differs from all other education providers. One difference is that Students do not need to carry bags to and from school as we have no homework to issue. All homework and review matters are carried out in school, and there are many more differences or features that distinguish us from other schools.

UNIFORM

Star Smart International Educational Community sets high standards of work, uniform and behaviour. Students are judged by the wider community by the way they wear their uniform and their behaviour while wearing it. We demand excellence in uniform. All students MUST wear their uniform to and from school.

The uniform can be received from the school supplier.
